After spending a few hours on Pinterest and consulting with our go-to manicurist, Yay My Nails, we're bringing you some ideas to inspire you during this unusual Halloween, which we'll all be spending at home. Of course, you'll have plenty of time to try all the designs. Here we go:
1. Bloody nails
A rather modest option, but a surefire hit, and one you can also use beyond Halloween. Achieve it by layering a red and a black polish.
2. Floral Halloween
For the cutest, this is a cuter option than a spooky one, but one we love. Of course, you'll need a lot of skill and a steady hand to pull it off, or have a manicurist at home...
3. Dark Mix&Match ( @yay_mynails)
We're FLIPPING OUT of this design. Mix & Match is so versatile, especially at Halloween. Unleash your creativity and create a different design on each nail. 5 manicures in 1.

4. Stormy mani ( @yay_mynails)
A lightning-effect manicure will give you that dark feel of stormy nights, when everything seems scarier than usual.

5. Ghostly Manicure ( @yay_mynails)
Ghosts everywhere! We love this design; it's simple and adorable, and you can achieve it with a white polish like Snow, a little black, and a top coat.
5. Girly Halloween
For lovers of Hello Kitty and Mr. Wonderful but who have a very dark side.
6. Play with shapes
Go ahead and file a little here and there (or better yet, put on a fake nail) to create vampire nails like these.
7. Tim Burton-style nails
Tim Burton's films and characters transport us to worlds between beautiful and creepy, bring it to your nails with a design like this, relatively easy (for what we've seen).

8. Country Halloween
If spiders and creepy things aren't your style, you can opt for this option. Pumpkins make quite a statement and look really pretty!
9. A design that gets under your skin
The effect you create with a design like this is very creepy. There are simpler examples, but we really liked this one.
10. Corona nails
We're not sharing this one because we like it, but because we couldn't help it, and because it's definitely one of the ones we're most afraid of, and we really are. Seriously, don't try this manicure at home.
