5 remedios con aceite de oliva para las uñas

Good morning!

If you're following us, your nails are an important part of your beauty routine and an important element of your personal appearance, and keeping them well-cared for and clean is a priority. One of the challenges is having strong nails, but there are daily tasks, both at home and at work, that cause them to become more brittle and weaken. The use of chemical cleaning products, poor hygiene, and many other factors we are exposed to directly impact the health of our nails.

When this happens, we sometimes don't have a special treatment on hand, but there's a magical, basic ingredient in our diet that's super effective: olive oil. This green gold can provide us with countless benefits and help restore the health of our precious nails. Below are some recipes you can make at home:

    1. To strengthen

    Ingredients

    • A little olive oil, enough to dip your nails in.
    • Fresh juice from an orange.
    • 1 garlic.

Crush the garlic and mix it with fresh orange juice in a bowl. Then, in another bowl, add a generous amount of olive oil. Soak your nails in the orange and garlic mixture for about 10 minutes. Then, soak them in the olive oil for another 15 minutes. Do this treatment twice a week. You must be consistent for good results. You can also soak your nails in olive oil more frequently for even better results. Another option is to apply a little of the oil to your nails every night before going to sleep.

    2. For the cuticles

    Ingredients

    • Half a cup of extra virgin olive oil
    • The juice of 2 lemons

Combine the ingredients in a bowl large enough to submerge your fingers up to 1/2 centimeter below the nail and let it sit for 15 minutes. Remove the excess with a paper towel and let it sit overnight. You can do this twice a week.

    3. To repair nail ridges:

    Ingredients

    • Two liquid capsules of vitamin E
    • Two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
    • Cotton applicators

Open the vitamin E capsules and mix them with the olive oil. Using an applicator, apply the mixture to the nail surface using circular motions. Let the mixture absorb into your nails and wash the next day. You can do this twice a week.

    4. To promote growth (2 options)

    Option 1

    • A tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
    • A tablespoon of aloe vera gel

Combine the ingredients until you get a smooth mixture. Apply with your fingertips to your nails in a circular motion and leave on for 20 minutes. After this time, rinse with warm water. You can do this twice a week.

    Option 2

    • Alcohol (preferably gel)
    • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

Start by cleaning your nails with mild hand soap, then apply olive oil to your nails using an applicator and remove with warm water after 15 minutes. Then, apply the alcohol gel again using an applicator and let it air dry. You can do this three times a week.

    5. Complete exfoliant

    • A cup of sugar
    • A tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
    • The juice of a lemon

Mix all the ingredients in a cup to form a paste. Remove any rings or jewelry you may have. Take a portion of the paste and rub it on your hands as if washing them with soap, making sure to cover all areas. Massage for 2 minutes and rinse with warm water. With the remaining mixture, focus on your nails and cuticles. Massage the mixture in circular motions and leave it on for another 3 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

This last recipe will not only help your nails, but will also soften your hands and remove dead skin cells. You can finish by applying a little moisturizer. You can do this three times a week.

With these remedies you can have healthy nails in an economical and comfortable way ✨

    Good day!
